Two weeks later, when I brought her the finished product, she loved it, but informed me that she could never have something in the shop that she didn't have a pattern for, so could I please publish one. What?? What about my original idea?? Well, let's just say I won't have to think too hard in 2011 because my 2012 idea is already formed......so instead, may I present the 2011 official release of "Julie's Funky Tree Skirt":
And here is how it looks with a cool tree:

I just found your blog from Amy's blog and it's my new FAVE!! I love your style. The tree skirt 'Rocks' and I am sending you an email next. I really really hope you still have some patterns left. I think they are going to go fast. Your crayon quilties are so cool, I really want to try that.
ReplyDeleteDo you have any patterns with that technique?
Your tree skirt is so fun! It would look great under my studio tree, ok, must have the pattern.
ReplyDeleteohhhhhhhhhh I love it! ya know its funny but my hubby insisted on a whiet christmas tree since we moved here where there was no snow and I wanted the traditional green but gave into him. Have still not gotten used to it but if I had a whimsical skirt like this underneath it I just might grow to love that tree!!!!!!!! soooooooo cute! Linda
