Check these out:

Did you ever see anything so yummy looking?  Take a look at these "Oreo Truffles":

Oreo Truffles

I found the recipe on Pinterest the other day and naturally, I had to run right out and get the ingredients to make them right away.  Incidentally, if you click on the picture, the recipe is right underneath on my Flickr page.  When I tried one, I thought I had died and had gone to heaven!!!  If you like chocolate, these, my friends are for YOU!!!  Not cheap to make though.  I got about 48 of them and I think the total cost was about $11 for the ingredients.  Oh well, it's Christmas!!!

On another note, I am getting along on my list.  I finally have my Christmas cards written and sent (as of this morning), and most of my obligation sewing is done.  I have one more special item to go this week and then I can "fun" sew again!  I finished my second set of birds for the bitty block group:

BBC Birds Group 1

I was only supposed to make 12, but got carried away!  I seem to do that a lot lately for some crazy reason.  Look here:

"Happy Winter"

I made him....."Happy Winter" a 9 x 14 mini quilt for the Little Quilt, Sew, Vote, Swap group, but then liked him so much that I decided to make more for friends for Christmas:

I went a bit "nutso"!

As of this morning, I have only one left to give away yet.  Hopefully, I'll get to see my friend soon!

I finished the 2nd "I spy" quilt too:

2nd Bitty Block "I Spy" quilt - DONE

Today, I think I will sort cookies.  It's raining outside, and cold and ugly, so sorting cookies with Christmas carols in the background will be perfect.  Little by little, I am getting done.  Hope you can say the same!  Have a great week, my friends.............now go out and get yourself some oreos, cream cheese and semi sweet chocolate and make that recipe!  You won't be disappointed!!

you can send me one...he's cute. I always have a problem making more than one of anything. And I usually regret giving anything away, cause I really hate making it over again for myself.

Ima be so excited to see my snowman in real!!! You are a sweetie! I love that lovesick forlorn looking birdie that's searching for the owner of the heart. The I Spy quilts both are just adorable. I think your little girls will have such fun playing with them.

I'm not a lover of cream cheese, so Ima pass on that recipe...but they really do look delicious!

Your production rate is beyond amazing. I do like the little birdie looking worried about what to do with the heart and I love all the other bitty blocks too. And I love the snowman with his TALL HAT!

I love Truffles, but I'll stay with my recipe anyway. You beat me with the cards getting ready to send. My little Vacation took a week away that I may need back before Christmas. LOL
The Snow guy is adorable. He's only postcard sized? He'd be cute if you "biggie sized" him like they do at the fast food place...Love the I spy Quilts too.

I agree with Sheila...you do get ALOT done! Don't mind me...I'm just jealous! I'm happy if I get one thing done a day. Please tell me you don't work outside the home too! If you do...well...let's just say I'm doomed! The oreo truffles look way to nice to eat, truly a masterpiece.

OMG your Frosty's are adorable!!! A question for the recipe...just to be clear ....do you process the middle part of the oreo too or just the bisquit part?
They look delish but then anything robed in dark chocolate gets my vote!!! haha!
