"The Babies"

No takers for my fabric........guess everyone has enough of their own, huh?  Well, my two sewer friends will be happy, because each will be blessed with a box today!  And I'm sure they both thank you!

I still have not tackled the dining room table (which is just about driving me over the edge), but until I am done with "ladies" for the year, it would be pointless since so much of what I use is there.  I'm happy to admit that Lady #64 is flying her way home "down under" and #65 will be started today or tomorrow and will be the last one for 2013.

In the meantime, I am still in a decision mode over this puppy problem.  If it were only spring!!!  Winter is such a bad time for me!!  And puppies need to go outside.......yuck!  DH and I visited last week and saw both litters together.  All 10.......yes, TEN!  What fun!

Me & DH with ten 5 week old puppies, yesterday!  Eikes!

Do you see that little nosy one at the back left?  That's the little guy I originally had my eye on.  I think though, that he might be a handful......who knows?  He wasn't very interested in us at all. More interested in getting in trouble!  Now, hubby and I are thinking maybe a girl.  E-gads this is hard!  Do I want to, or not?  I wish I knew!  Maybe you can help.......!!  Here is the litter at 5 1/2 weeks.

THE BOYS:

THE GIRLS:

At the end of next week I will visit again.  By then I should know, don't you think???  OR....do you think I can talk my friend, the breeder, into keeping my puppy until March?  Now, that would really be good!!!

Oh gosh just look at all those sweet little faces! It would be a hard decision indeed! Part of me would want them all, and then part of me would not want all that work in taking care of them. Glad it's not up to me, ha! My friend has 2 Havanese dogs and they are both sweet and both girls. She had one a few years before rescuing the other one she has had for about a year now. Good luck Carol.

My experience - I thought my dog would like a pal and brought home a brother. She hated him. I wanted another dog - she loved being an only child. Just my two cents. Those puppies are adorable. I'd take them all if I could.

Puppies are a lot of work but worth of minute. Got my baby last November she is a year old now and asleep on my feet as I wrote this. Would not change one thing about her and this past year. My vote is for Reagan, so sweet. You know you want her and might as well get ready.

I agree with Sharon. Reba, definitely. Just look at those eyebrows!

O, puppy's are irresistable for sure! I trained and raised help-dogs for the disabled for years. I have choosen NOT to have a dog for myself. A approx. 14 year commitment was something I did not want to take. When older a dog needs as much attention as a young dog.
When you decide to go for it: don't wait 'till he/she is older. It'll will be harder to train "it" to your likings. It's better that the puppy will get used to you and your rules/home.
Good luck deciding!

A girl yes! We have two and they are the loves of my life. Reagan just jumps off the screen and says pick me!

I think you should scoop Reba up before someone else does!! Daily visits to the breeder in winter (cause how could you NOT go visit her everyday???) would be harder than little walks outside. Don't you think? What a nice Christmas gift for Toby!!

Seriously!?! How can you choose!?! They are all so dang adorable! Of course, I'm partial to Reagan (I know, shocker!), but Reba is a sweety, too!

So funny.....my girlfriend years ago got a new doberman puppy, and I mentioned how cute the name Reba would be.....and she used it! It was perfect for that puppy, too!

I'm looking forward to seeing the new ladies. Not feeling the doggies so much, but you're getting plenty of doggie love from the others above me. :-)

I am sooo impressed that you can get down on the floor like that & even MORE impressed that you can get UP!! They sure look like a bundle of fun. Too bad you can't just go over there & play with them whenever you want to get your "puppy" fix.
I won't offer any advice.

Choose the quietest one that is most interested in visiting with you. That is the one that will be easiest to train.
