First it was this:
Then, it was these:
And, for some reason, I couldn't get that block out of my mind, so I made these Friday and Saturday:
(There were a few more, but I thought 9 made a prettier picture. LOL) Then, on Sunday, I sewed them all together and made this:
I just love how they look sewn all together, don't you?
Look at the texture.......wow! BUT, it's time to move on......so today, I will make two pincushions. One for my LQS to put all those cute pin toppers into for sale, and a commission pincushion. After that, I will start cutting fabric for the (yet to be written) new lap quilt pattern. So, hopefully, you will be seeing that next. Pray I don't screw it up. I'd hate to re-order all that fabric! E-gads!! I hope you will be having fun sewing this week too!!!!!!

Very nice - so clean and vibrant.
what impact RED and WHITE...demands your attention.. I salute you lol
Very cool!
This is stunning! I can see why you had to make more:)
I love it! I really like the look of the red against the white. I think I might have to try doing something with white as the background with just pops of color. I like that effect.

Love your pincushions and pins!
ooooohhh I love this quilt! The graphic nature of the red and white and the texture the log cabin piecing gives to the white fabric makes it so stunning! The two rows of white straight stitching in the border work really well. Nice very nice!
It is cool.....how your mind just kept going, and going...and going... (might have to call you...the energizer bunny).. the quilt is VERY cool...too!

This is a very arresting design. It just sucked me in to look at the texture and the dramatic color jolts. Love it!
