It's almost Halloween

I told you I was going to show you my gorgeous new Halloween fabrics and here they are.  One is cooler than the next.  Funny thing is that I'm really not into Halloween too much.  My holiday is Christmas, but I have a daughter who is wild about Halloween.

When my friend, Annie, posted a pic of her awesome Halloween quilt on her blog not that long ago, I flipped.  Now, I've seen several Halloween quilts in my day, but none of them "hit" me like hers and that's why I had to run right out and get these.  'Course it didn't take long before I was cutting into them with a vengeance and lookie what happened before I knew it:

Halloween anyone?

Think it's bright enough?

Talk about bright???

I was going to give this to DD for Christmas (I sure hope she's not reading this), but now I'm thinking it might be a nice addition to my Halloween decorating.  Who knows?  I might even have to make two!!

In the meantime, I really should think about making a costume for my Toby.  I'm sure he's going to love trick or treat with all the kids coming to the door.  (Thank you to all of you who talked me into a Havanese........what a wonderful breed!  We love him to death.....even though he's not completely potty trained yet.  LOL)

Toby 5 1/2 months

Isn't he a cutie?

Toby, Toby, Toby. You have to be the cutesy pup I've seen since our Bassett was a puppy. What will you be for Halloween? You would look dapper in a black bow tie. You could wear a stick and be a mop, he he he.

Make two, definitely!

Eventhough we don't have a halloween here in the Netherlands, I just adore those fabrics and your quilt.
But more than that, I love, love, love Toby!! What an adorable pup!!! A shame that my 4 cat-kids don't like dogs....
Cuddle him for me and you have fun with your fabrics!

It turned out so great, Carol. Your little inset squares are just adorable.

Tobey costume idea: Afix a key to a white belly band and he can be a wind up toy. He's already the right size!

I haven't been a follower for very long, so I'm so happy to see you went for a Havanese puppy. I can't say enough about the breed. Their personalities & intelligence are second-to-none, IMHO! We have a 12-yr.old female who runs the household & my DH! Toby is precious & the Halloween quilt is wonderful!

Just love Halloween fabrics. They are so bright and fun. The quilt is simple but cute! Every pic of Toby gets cuter. He'd be a cute super hero.
